Statement I is Halmos's definition of completeness; statement II omits μ(En)<∞\mu(E_n)<\infty

Consider the statements: I. A measure μ\mu on a ring R\mathbf R is complete if E∈RE\in\mathbf R, F⊆EF\subseteq E and μ(E)=0\mu(E)=0 then F∈RF\in\mathbf R. II. A measure μ\mu on a ring R\mathbf R is σ\sigma-finite if, for every set E∈RE\in\mathbf R, E=⋃n=1∞EnE=\bigcup_{n=1}^\infty E_n for some sequence {En}\{E_n\} such that En∈RE_n\in\mathbf R.
