Rotating-frame Lagrangian — the Hamiltonian is conserved, but isn't the energy

The Lagrangian of a particle of mass mm moving on the xyxy-plane which is rotating about zz-axis with angular velocity ω\omega is given by:

L=12m[(x˙−ωy)2+(y˙+ωx)2]−V(x,y).L=\frac12m\bigl[(\dot x-\omega y)^2+(\dot y+\omega x)^2\bigr]-V(x,y).
